We started using Livebase in 2012 to develop an application to manage the brewing process. Since then, Livebase has allowed a single analyst/developer to progressively extend the original application into a fully-fledged vertical ERP, covering basically all the other business processes. During this amazing journey, up to these days, Livebase has supported the exceptional growth of the company (acquired in 2016 by AB Inbev GMBH) giving solid proof of flexibility, scalability and reliability.

Livebase is powering since 2018 an Industry 4.0 application to plan and monitor operations at one of our industrial plants recycling waste material. Its unique capability to generate code straight from functional requirements allowed Livebase to precisely capture business needs, and to generate/deploy a new version of the application whenever required. The services generated by Livebase have proven to be very reliable, extendible and easy to interface with physical equipment.

In 2021 I wanted to test the small business market for an innovative service, but we were struggling to find an affordable way to quickly build a minimum valuable product, until we found Livebase. The platform’s modeling tools captured the functional requirements of the system I had in mind with unparalleled efficiency and precision, and its code generation capabilities consistently delivered (and still delivers) fully functional versions of the product backend literally in minutes.

In 2017 Bus Center needed a vertical ERP system to manage its growing business in public transportation, operating at that time over 100 buses over 14 lines connecting hundreds of cities in Italy and northern Europe. Given our specific needs, we were stuck in a difficult make-or-buy strategic decision, until we completed a pilot project with Livebase. The efficiency of the platform in capturing functional requirements and generating backend services quickly convinced us to build the entire ERP with Livebase. The project was a real success, and the system operated almost flawlessly through several extensions till the end of 2020, when the COVID epidemic struck.
